The Print House At Jim & Tonic East
Nestled in the heart of East London at 133 High St, London E15 2RB, The Print House At Jim & Tonic East is more than just a restaurant-it’s a buzzing social hub where craft drinks, comfort food, and laid-back vibes collide. The Print House has built a reputation for its outstanding beer selection, signature cocktails, and an atmosphere that feels simultaneously energetic and relaxed. It’s the kind of place where you can sip on a cold gin and tonic, nibble on small plates, and get caught up in live music-all under one industrial-chic roof.
What really stands out about The Print House is its diverse and exciting menu. The kitchen doesn’t shy away from bold flavors or hearty classics. Some of the most popular dishes include the Mushroom, Bacon & Cheese Burger, Slow Roast Pork Loin, and the comforting Pork Belly Sunday Roast-a must-try if you're around on the weekend. For lighter appetites, the Finger Food Tasting Platter and Mini Burgers are perfect for sharing over drinks.
For those with a sweet tooth, the Chocolate Orange Cake and Panna Chocolate are house favorites, often praised by returning guests. Craving a late-night treat? The Chocolate Brownie hits the spot without being overly rich, striking a great balance of indulgence and comfort.
Vegans and vegetarians aren’t left out either-there’s a good range of plant-based options, including a delicious Falafel Kebab that rivals any meat dish on the menu.
It wouldn’t be Jim & Tonic without a drinks list that goes deep. True to its name, the bar serves a curated selection of craft gins, many of which are locally distilled. Pair that with a refreshing Americano Coffee in the daytime or dive into their happy-hour cocktails by evening, and you've got yourself a well-rounded experience.
Wine lovers will appreciate the well-chosen list of reds, whites, and rosés, with options that complement everything from the Roasted Chicken to the Cheeseburger with Chips and Onion Rings. And if beer’s your thing, expect a rotating tap list featuring local brews and international favorites. This spot is also known for its great beer garden, making it a go-to during warmer months.
One of the things that makes The Print House At Jim & Tonic East such a draw is the vibe. It’s wheelchair-accessible, has outdoor seating, and offers live music regularly-perfect for those who like a little rhythm with their roast. It's also a popular dinner spot for solo diners and groups alike, with a layout that feels communal without being cramped.
The venue is sport-friendly, too. You can catch a match on screen while enjoying a hamburger or a mixed platter, and yes-they even have bar snacks for dogs. It's that kind of attention to detail that sets this place apart.
What keeps people coming back? It’s the consistency, the friendly atmosphere, and the way the menu effortlessly blends classic comfort with modern twists. From healthy options to late-night small plates, it caters to just about every craving.
And while the vibe is casual, the quality is taken seriously. This isn’t just a place to grab a quick bite-it’s where you can hang out for hours, try something new, and maybe discover your new favorite cocktail along the way.

Went to see Abba Voyage and Jim&tonic is perfectly placed to eat before the show. We did go lunch time just to check it out and book for dinner, great place right on the river, all the servers we had contact with were spot on, really helpful and very pleasant. Now the food I had the Crispy chicken burger.. I must say it was one of the best burgers I've ever had ... A whole fillit with Sriracha mayo, lettuce and I added some blue cheese.. it was next level ... Comes with a generous portion of fries also cooked just right ... There beer selection and brewed on site Gin was very good ...it's a shame we live so far away (Devon) because we would definitely be regulars
Great value, tasty food. Honestly - a hidden gem full of burger and beer choice. Highly recommend!
Great local pub, cafe, restaurant. Fantastic outdoor space. Great design and interior. Decent breakfasts. Decent pub food. Great location. Staff are hit and miss. There are a couple of amazing and friendly staff members and a couple of slow/not so helpful ones. Fantastic drinks, gin and cocktail selection. I come here a couple of times a week. Dog friendly.
Exceptional service from Sebastian today. He was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional from start to finish. Our drinks were perfectly made, and he made sure we were well looked after throughout. It’s rare to find someone who combines efficiency with genuine hospitality, Sebastian did just that. A real asset to the team. Thank you!
We pre-booked an a la carte meal here to concide with our trip to Abba Voyage. It seemed to be the only place offering food nearby. We did arrive an hour early, so we went in to have a couple of drinks before ordering our food. The server found us a table and told us that the a la carte wasn't available until 4 pm, so we had a look at the brunch menu instead. Nothing particularly grabbed us, so we opted to wait for the a la carte to start at 4 pm. We got the a la carte menu and discovered that the only difference between the two was the a la carte served steak and sea bass as an extra option, the rest of the menu was the same as the brunch. We ordered the chicken burgers. The food that was brought to the table was good, no complaints about any of it, large portions and decent chips. Our server (I think, according to the receipt was Iza, the girl wearing the purple trousers on Sunday 20th April) deserves a special mention as she was polite, prompt, well presented and went above and beyond to make our dining here a pleasant experience. Management, please pass on our thanks to her. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat before the Abba show or indeed just to chill beside the canal, then we can highly recommend eating here.
